DAY 1 – Is Molas – Sant’Antioco

Arrival of the participants in the hotel and assignment of the motorbikes. After a buffet lunch with typical products, we are ready to leave immediately for a new adventure!

This first half day is dedicated to getting in touch with the bikes and to a small lesson to remember how to drive off-road. We try bikes around the structure and on all types of routes more suitable to the Tuareg, from the dirt roads to the twisties, to enjoy the dynamic qualities of the bike.

We follow a short stretch of asphalted road towards Domus de Maria, then all off passing through the coast of Teulada up to Golgo di Palmas (Porto Pino), among the vineyards of Carignano del Sulcis and sand spits, where we could probably see pink flamingos. Through the salt marshes we arrive on the island of Sant’Antioco (about 120 km).

Check-in at the hotel, dinner with Sardinian cuisine tasting menu; followed by a briefing of the program of the next day.

DAY 2– Sant’Antioco Island and the south-west coast – Piscinas

After breakfast we drive around the island on the seafront, towards Calasetta: we move along the west coast, with dirt roads and cliffs overlooking the sea. We can stop to take photos at Cala Lunga from above and then towards the so-called “ex semaforo” (former traffic light), a historical monument located at the highest point of the island, with a unique sight.

We go up the coast to the lovely fishing village of Portoscuso. Then, with a beautiful stretch we reach the village of Nebida, Masua and the natural rock of Pan di Zucchero, with fantastic landscapes and dirt roads.

We drive up to Monte Rosmarino and Buggerru with its enchanting small port. Thanks to beautiful bends in asphalt and again in dirt road we reach the famous and unique dunes of Piscinas, a wonderful oasis. Great dunes of fine and golden sand, up to 60 meters high, extend from the hinterland for several kilometres until diving into the blue sea. Between the sea and the ancient mining area, an authentic Far West full of off-road routes, you can try the off-road qualities of the Tuareg! (tot km 200 about).

DAY 3 – Sulcis-Iglesiente and going back to Is Molas

After breakfast we enter the hinterland between woods and old mining villages, wading several times a unique red river. From Arenas, old mining site, we descend into the forest of Domusnovas, passing through the village Rosas with a final climb from Genniomus.

We always drive, as far as possible, beautiful roads enjoying all types of roads (tot km 200 about).

DAY 4 –Is Molas

Last half day off road: to the seafront full of curves and fabulous views, then to a cart track of over 20 kilometres inland between Santadi and Capoterra, lost in the heart of Sulcis, following the course of the Rio Mannu, skirting the wild mountains of the Nature Reserve of Monte Arcosu. (tot km 120 about).

Buffet lunch and a goodbye toast!
Return of motorbikes, end of the service.
